During a working week, I operated a mobile stall in Brixton market, offering to write complaint letters for all purposes, free of charge.

Over a week, I wrote over 20 customized complaint letters covering issues as varied as housing, litter, parking meters, public toilets, street preachers and pricing and measures used at a large supermarket chain.

All letters were posted to the relevant person and department, and all the exchanges with people in the street were documented in a written diary.
